Once upon a time, there came a day, a day unlike any other… when Earth’s mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat… to fight the foes no single superhero could withstand… on that day, The Avengers were born.

THIS IS WONDERFUL.

I’TS INCREDIBLE *-*

The Lord Of The Rings Characters:

→ Aragorn: “Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you *stand, Men of the West!*”

So many people like to point this scene out as “Oh nobody cared that Loki was gone. Thor is just a liar. No one actually mourned him!” But really? Come on. Thor, Odin and Frigga weren’t there partying! AT ALL!

Did it ever occur, in the middle of all the Poor Loki feels, that Thor didn’t mean all of Asgard, but The Family? Loki’s family. The onse that did love him and would mourn his loss. Thor, Odin and Frigga mourned. They missed their son and brother.

And no, maybe Thor didn’t ask Hiemdall about Loki at the end, but maybe that’s because he though Loki was dead. So what would have been the point of asking Hiemdall if he could see Loki? He probably thought Loki was off in Valhalla having a better time of it there.

Just my opinion.

I may joke that they didn’t mourn but I know they did. They did and still do love Loki. They might just hate him more.
